Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $28–$36/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Project Duration: Approximately 2 months
Job Type: Temporary/Contract


Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Stainless Pipe Welders for a shop-based welding project in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have solid experience welding stainless steel pipe, with a strong emphasis on TIG welding.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder looking for steady hours on a short-term project.


Job Responsibilities:
  • TIG weld stainless steel pipe in a shop environment

  • Perform high-quality welds according to project specifications

  • Read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and specifications

  • Prepare, fit, and weld stainless steel pipe and components

  • Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

  • Follow all company and job-site safety procedures

  • Perform other welding and fabrication duties as assigned


Requirements:
  • Proven experience welding stainless steel pipe

  • Strong TIG welding experience required

  • Ability to produce clean, quality welds

  • Must be able to successfully complete a weld test

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must be willing to complete a drug screen and background check


Compensation & Schedule:
  • $28–$36/hour, based on experience and skill level

  • 40 hours per week
