Pleasant Valley Psychological Center is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic outpatient therapy network. This outpatient role is predominantly remote, allowing you to practice from your own home or another comfortable setting. • Conduct thorough assessments and mental health evaluations to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide virtual therapy services utilizing secure online platforms, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
• Engage in collaborative goal-setting with clients to establish specific therapeutic objectives and regularly monitor progress.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Documentation of therapy sessions and client progress must be thorough, accurate, and timely using our integrated digital records system.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to collaborate on client care and share insights with coworkers.

The clients you serve will include individuals facing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more. You will engage with a diverse population, including adults and seniors from various backgrounds. Your expertise and empathy will be critical in establishing a trusted therapeutic relationship and providing effective support to those in need.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively over virtual platforms.
• A strong sense of empathy, compassion, and patience when dealing with clients facing mental health challenges.
• Excellent organizational skills and the capacity for time management to handle multiple clients and maintain session documentation efficiently.

• Experience working with a remote therapy model, demonstrating the ability to maintain a strong therapeutic alliance through digital communication.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches and evidence-based practices.
• Experience in managing a diverse caseload, adapting treatment strategies to meet individual client needs effectively.

• Competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
