A multiโoffice law firm with a strong footprint across the Southwest and West Coast is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of experience to join its construction and business litigation practice. This position is fully remote, with candidates required to hold an active Arizona law license.
Practice Overview
The firm handles a wide range of complex constructionโrelated matters, spanning both litigation and transactional work, with a practice that is litigationโforward. Clients include:
- Design professionals
- Construction professionals and contractors
- Manufacturers
- Project owners
Matters regularly involve highโexposure disputes, including:
- Multiโmillionโdollar private and public works construction litigation
- Catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases connected to construction projects
- Projects involving hotels, casinos, roadways and highways, airports, justice facilities, wastewater treatment plants, power plants, healthcare facilities, schools, and largeโscale residential and commercial developments
The firm also advises on:
- Contract drafting and negotiation for large, complex projects
- Claims counseling during active design and construction phases
- Lien actions and payment disputes
- Mediation and arbitration
- Trial and appellate support
Attorneys work closely with clients and insurance carriers, often on matters with national or international elements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must Haves
- 2-7 years of relevant litigation experience
- Active Arizona bar license
- Strong litigation skills and comfort handling responsibility
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Work Environment
- Fully remote role based in Arizona
- Supported by experienced litigation assistants and paralegals
- Collaborative, collegial culture within a team of approximately 16 attorneys
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $130,000-$175,000, depending on experience
- Annual billable requirement: 1,950 hours
- Discretionary bonus eligible
