As a remote mental health counselor, you will have complete flexibility over your schedule, allowing you to find the perfect balance between your professional and personal life. In this pivotal role, your primary duties will include:

• Providing one-on-one virtual therapy sessions to clients using video chat technology to improve their mental health and emotional well-being.
• Facilitating discussions on emotions and experiences, guiding clients toward self-discovery and deeper insights into their relationships and personal challenges.
• Acting as an advocate for clients by helping them define and achieve their personal growth goals.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental health conditions, developing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and your professional expertise.

Your client base will include carefully screened adults who present with low acuity and stable mental health conditions. We ensure that you will not have to deal with severe mental health cases, allowing you to focus on clients who align with your areas of expertise and preferences. By matching counselors with suitable clients, we enhance therapeutic outcomes and client satisfaction.

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy to ensure a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Hold an active and unrestricted license from the state board as either an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, demonstrating your ability to practice independently.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, showcasing a compassionate approach to client interactions and therapy sessions.
• Be proficient in using technology and various online platforms to manage client interactions and case documentation.

A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred. This experience should include working with diverse patient populations and utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions.
