This remote position allows counselors to set their own schedules, ensuring flexibility to accommodate personal and professional commitments. • Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via video chat, focusing on improving their mental health and emotional well-being.
• Facilitate open discussions with clients to help them explore their feelings and experiences, guiding them toward deeper self-awareness and healthy relationship dynamics.
• Advocate for your clients by supporting them in defining specific therapy goals and action steps.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions through thoughtful evaluation, and devise tailored treatment plans employing evidence-based, solution-oriented strategies.
• Document client interactions and treatment progress accurately to ensure continuity of care while minimizing administrative burdens.

The clients you will serve at Lyra Health are carefully vetted and primarily consist of stable adults seeking support for low-acuity mental health issues. Each client is matched based on your specialties and demographic preferences, allowing you to deliver care that aligns with your expertise and interests. • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Licensure: Must hold a full, unrestricted license to practice independently without supervision, including one of the following:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic disposition necessary for effective client engagement.
• Proficient in the use of technology and digital tools pertinent to counseling and telehealth practices.

While experience working with specific populations is welcomed, it is not mandatory. We focus more on the values you bring to the therapeutic relationship, including your approach to care, compassion, and commitment to client welfare.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with hours worked, experience, and client load.
