Details:
Job Title: WMS Manhattan QA Lead
Location: Remote (EST Hours)
Duration: 6+ Months
Minimum years of exp: 11+ years exp
Client seeking an experienced and detail-oriented WMS Manhattan QA Lead to lead testing activities for Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations and support initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Manhattan WMS solutions (Active WM, WMOS, SCALE), warehouse and supply chain operations, and end-to-end QA lifecycle management.
The QA Lead will be responsible for leading functional and integration testing efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing defect tracking, and ensuring high-quality delivery of warehouse management solutions across multiple business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end QA activities for Manhattan WMS implementations, enhancements, and production support
  • Develop QA strategy, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and traceability matrices
  • Perform and oversee System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, Functional Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Validate WMS configurations, inbound/outbound workflows, inventory management, wave planning, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and cycle count processes
  • Coordinate testing of integrations between Manhattan WMS and external systems such as ERP, OMS, TMS, Automation systems, and third-party applications
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Operations teams to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage
  • Lead defect management activities including defect logging, triage, tracking, retesting, and closure using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps
  • Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL queries where required
  • Support SIT/UAT planning, execution, go-live readiness, and hypercare activities
  • Mentor and guide QA team members and offshore/onshore testing teams
  • Prepare and present daily/weekly status reports, defect metrics, and test summary reports to stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing methodologies, and best practices
  • Participate in release planning, risk assessment, and quality governance activities.
