• Conduct thorough intake assessments for individuals, couples, and families using interviews, standardized testing, and observational methods to understand their mental health needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized therapeutic treatment programs that align with the identified needs and goals of each patient.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, complying with all facility and licensing standards for documentation.
• Engage with colleagues in weekly clinical team meetings to discuss cases and collaborate on treatment strategies, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention when necessary, including outreach services in various community settings, such as schools and home visits, as directed by the Director of Behavioral Health.
• Facilitate specialized group therapy sessions on focused topics such as parenting, anger management, grief, and coping with chronic illness, thereby enhancing the therapeutic resources available to clients.
• Regularly participate in case review meetings to monitor and adapt treatment plans as needed.

You will work primarily with diverse individuals, couples, and families who face a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and behavioral disorders. Our clinic emphasizes cultural competence, recognizing the importance of understanding and respecting the backgrounds of the clients we serve.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington state (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Certification in one or more specialized treatment modalities is essential for this position.
• CPR certification must be up-to-date.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills that enable effective collaboration within a team.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team environment.

• At least two years of clinical experience as an LMFT is preferred, with experience in medical social work seen as advantageous.
• Experience in providing therapy in both individual and group settings, with a strong understanding of family systems theory.
