Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Remote, candidates would be expected to travel to the office in Juno Beach periodically. Trips to Juno Beach would be more frequent in the first 3-6 months as the candidate settles into the role.
Required:

  • Experience with Engineering (5+ years).
  • Experience with Project management (5+ years).
  • Experience with Electrical engineering.
  • Experience with Structural engineering.
  • Experience with Civil engineering.
  • Experience with Materials engineering.
  • Experience with Value engineering.
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (electrical, civil, mechanical, aerospace or chemical).

Preferred:
  • Experience with Engineering and project management on utility scale solar projects.
  • Experience with DG/commercial solar.
  • Experience with Wind power technology.
  • Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • Experience with Combined cycle power.
  • Experience with Nuclear power.
  • Experience with Hydrogen power.
  • Experience with Substation.
  • Experience with Transmission.

  • Experience with Managing schedules and budgets for major capital projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage 3rd party contractor teams to develop engineering designs for solar projects.
  • Develop engineering designs from initial concept definition to construction and final commissioning.
  • Coordinate continuously with diverse project stakeholders such as environmental, procurement, transmission services, and project managers for both early stage and construction.
  • Apply value engineering to balance reliability, cost, and performance for complex systems.
  • Coordinate project stakeholders and mobilize teams of engineers to achieve business objectives.
