• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms reported by clients.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, preferences, and circumstances.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate meaningful change.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about the nature of mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic care for all clients.
• Stay current with advancements in mood disorder research and therapeutic techniques to continually enhance treatment efficacy.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate actively in case reviews, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to foster continuous growth and improvement.
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and break down societal stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Your primary focus will be on clients facing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals, from those experiencing temporary challenges to those facing chronic mental health issues. These clients may include individuals from vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, each requiring a tailored therapeutic approach that respects their unique experiences and backgrounds.

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a secure and trusting therapeutic alliance with clients.
• A compassionate and nonjudgmental demeanor, with the ability to empathize with clients' struggles.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently within a full caseload.

• Experience working with mood disorders and knowledge of evidence-based practices related to their treatment.
• Familiarity with community health services and the challenges faced by high-risk populations.
• Previous work in a remote environment is preferred, demonstrating adaptability to telehealth methodologies.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
