Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work within a supportive telehealth framework. You will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team focused on addiction treatment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing screenings to gauge clients' substance abuse histories and mental health conditions, utilizing standardized tools and client interviews.
• Create and implement customized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and related mental health concerns, ensuring that each plan aligns with evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, to foster client engagement and progress.
• Work collaboratively with other treatment team members, including case managers and medical providers, to ensure that clients receive holistic, integrated care.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge and support needed to actively participate in the recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential records of clients' progress in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The individuals you will serve are primarily those facing substance use disorders, ranging from mild to severe. Many clients also grapple with co-occurring mental health disorders, such as depression or anxiety. Your role will be critical in guiding them through personalized recovery paths, addressing both substance-related challenges and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience related to addiction counseling is a must.
• Strong therapeutic skills, including a thorough understanding of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on empathy, engagement, and motivational feedback.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in telehealth or virtual therapy settings.
• Additional certifications in substance abuse treatment or addiction counseling techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telecommunication platforms for therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and skill level.
