Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Overview
Solution Engineers (SEs) at Salesforce are the technical bridge between business challenges and transformative technology. At Salesforce, we hire SEs across a wide range of products, clouds, and industry verticals - and we're always looking for great talent. By applying to this role, your resume will be reviewed by multiple hiring teams across the organization supporting various cloud offerings and verticals. Please note some positions may be office-based, office-flexible, or remote depending on the team.
The Lead Account SE - TMT, Telco & Media is a senior-level Solution Engineering role focused on driving Salesforce's presence across telecommunications, media, and entertainment companies. This person leads pre-sales activities - from discovery and solution design to executive-level demos - while architecting and hands-on building end-to-end Salesforce solutions that tackle complex industry challenges. A strong emphasis is placed on delivering AI-powered solutions leveraging Agentforce, Data Cloud 360, and Salesforce's broader AI portfolio to drive consumption and customer value realization.
What does a Solution Engineer do at Salesforce?
Solution Engineers sit at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and customer success. Through close collaboration with customers, Product teams, and Professional Services, SEs develop thoughtful, tailored solutions that help organizations connect with their customers in new ways. The SE role spans the entire customer lifecycle - from initial discovery to solution design to long-term value realization - in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment where expertise in design, business consulting, and technology drives innovation every day.
The Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to demonstrate their technical and sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and successfully demonstrate solutions that address those requirements, and deliver measurable business value.
What roles are we looking to fill in Solution Engineering?
The SE team is organized into smaller teams based on the products they sell or the industry/vertical they align to - mirroring our sales organization. We have Core Teams that sell the entire Salesforce Platform, as well as Co-Prime teams that specialize in specific cloud solutions including Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and more. This role is aligned to the Telco & Media (TMT) vertical. We hire based on skills and experience and are open to all levels for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end pre-sales activities including discovery, solution design, and executive-level demonstrations for Telco & Media accounts
  • Architect and hands-on build comprehensive, AI-powered Salesforce solutions tailored to TMT industry challenges
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to drive pipeline and close strategic deals across the Telco & Media ecosystem
  • Collaborate with partners and System Integrators (SIs) to deliver integrated solutions leveraging Agentforce, Data Cloud 360, and Salesforce's broader AI portfolio
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for C-level client contacts, driving consensus on multi-product technology solutions
  • Solve ambiguous and sophisticated business problems through research, assessment, and innovative ideation - defining the problem, the opportunity, and the recommended path forward
  • Deliver executive-level software demonstrations, rapid prototypes, and future-state customer journey strategies that bring connected experiences to life
  • Convey a deep understanding of customer architecture as it pertains to Salesforce solutions
  • Orchestrate and lead cross-functional solution teams aligned to opportunity strategy
  • Drive customer value realization and consumption across accounts
  • Participate in all relevant product, sales, and procedural training and certifications
  • Ability to travel based on territory alignment and region

Required Qualifications
  • B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering or MIS
  • 8+ years of experience in Solution Engineering or Pre-Sales
  • Deep Telco & Media (TMT) industry knowledge
  • Hands-on technical builder experience across Agentforce, Data Cloud 360, and AI solutions
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively at both executive and technical levels
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in complex, matrixed environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Certifications (Agentforce, Data Cloud, or platform certifications a plus)
  • Previous experience as a Solution or Sales Engineer in the Telco, Media, or Entertainment industry
  • Familiarity with partner and SI ecosystems within the TMT vertical
