Work Environment

This position operates in a primarily remote setting, leveraging telehealth to conduct therapy sessions effectively. You will utilize state-of-the-art telecommunication platforms that ensure secure, confidential, and impactful interactions with clients. This flexible work environment allows you to manage your own schedule between 5 to 40 hours a week, aligning work-life balance with professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee clinical care for a diverse range of patients with mental health needs, demonstrating proficiency and best practice methodologies.
  • Conduct individualized and group therapy sessions, perform comprehensive assessments, and document treatment logs to track client progress effectively.
  • Manage a caseload of patients, addressing various psychological concerns, and navigate complex therapeutic situations with sensitivity and expertise.
  • Employ advanced clinical skills to assess psychological needs during crisis situations, develop intervention strategies, and collaborate closely with clients and their families to establish effective treatment plans.
  • Offer personalized counseling services for individual, couples, and family therapies, ensuring interventions are tailored to the unique requirements of each client.
  • Evaluate the needs of patients and healthcare providers, creating actionable psychological service plans which require regular monitoring and adaptation according to progress and changing needs.
  • Facilitate mental health evaluations, integrating findings into holistic care strategies, while documenting plans and outcomes in detail.
  • Design and implement educational programs that provide valuable support to both patients and their families, enhancing their understanding and coping mechanisms.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will focus on a varied client base, including individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disturbances. You will cater to a diverse demographic, tailoring your services to meet individual needs, which demands flexibility, empathy, and sensitivity to multicultural perspectives and backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling is required; a master’s degree or a doctoral degree (PsyD) is highly preferred.
  • Applicants must possess valid licensure in the field of mental health, such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in therapeutic settings is mandatory.
Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience in delivering telehealth services, with a solid understanding of various therapeutic modalities suited for virtual treatment environments. Furthermore, a background in crisis management and family systems therapy is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
  • The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 135,000 annually, with the potential for performance-based bonuses.
  • New hires may receive a sign-on bonus up to $1,500, alongside additional incentives based on state licensure.
