Lead Product Manager

Koyfin

New York, NY • Remote

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Retirement

Re-posted 20 days ago

Job description

Koyfin is a fast growing fintech company building a powerful, intuitive analytics platform used by financial advisors and individual investors to research ideas, manage portfolios, and grow their businesses. We believe every investor deserves world-class research tools without the complexity or price tag of legacy platforms.

Our impact so far:
One of the fastest-growing platforms for financial advisors, driven by product-led growth
Recognized by users as a top-rated investment solution on G2
Rated as the top research platform for user satisfaction in the Kitces survey, the largest survey in the advisor industry

About the role

Koyfin has achieved strong product market fit and profitable growth. Our next phase is focused on building the leading platform for financial advisors and wealth management professionals.

As a Lead Product Manager, you will own some of Koyfin’s most important advisor workflows, including portfolio analytics, performance measurement, options analysis, and bond analysis. These capabilities will become central to how advisors use Koyfin every day, requiring a high standard of accuracy, usability, and trust.

This role is ideal for a product manager who thrives in complex, data driven domains and enjoys taking ownership from problem definition through launch. You will work directly with users, make decisions in ambiguous situations, and partner closely with engineering and design to turn advisor needs into great products.

You’ll report to the CEO and collaborate closely with our PM, design, and engineering teams. This is an individual contributor role with end to end ownership of your roadmap. As the company grows, you’ll have the opportunity to help build and lead the team.

What you’ll be doing?
  • Own projects from problem definition through delivery, including PRDs, task breakdown, execution, and launch

  • Lead discovery through structured user interviews, usage data, and direct customer feedback

  • Translate complex portfolio and performance concepts into intuitive, trustworthy workflows

  • Partner closely with engineering to deliver accurate, performant, and scalable analytics

  • Communicate timelines, tradeoffs, and changes clearly across the company

  • Make thoughtful tradeoffs between correctness, usability, and speed

  • Be accountable for outcomes, not just output

What we’re looking for

You are a product manager who enjoys owning complex problems and shipping solutions in domains where correctness matters.

  • 5+ years of product management experience building and shipping data-driven or workflow-heavy products

  • Comfort with quantitative concepts and the curiosity to go deep on portfolio analytics, options, and credit.

  • Proven ability to own features end to end with minimal oversight

  • Comfortable working with messy real-world data and making judgment calls

  • Strong discovery instincts and a bias toward talking directly with users

  • Clear, concise written communicator

  • Willing to push back thoughtfully when something does not make sense

  • Alignment with our values: Customer First, Humility and Respect, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, and GSD

What we offer
  • A culture of ownership and high standards

  • A fully remote, results driven team that ships real product and learns directly from users

  • Competitive compensation, including stock options

  • Full benefits package including medical, dental, and 401k contributions

  • The opportunity to own meaningful product surface area used daily by professional investors

  • A product led company that values craftsmanship, accountability, and getting things done

At Koyfin, impact comes with responsibility. We expect independent thinking, sound judgment, and ownership of outcomes. We value clear communication, intellectual honesty, and continuous improvement. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, contribute thoughtfully, and raise the standard of the work around you.

Our hiring process is thoughtful and efficient, typically including an HR conversation, role-specific interviews, and a final discussion with leadership.

Koyfin is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
