Complete and Wellness Mind Care P.C. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a fully remote full-time capacity. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact the lives of children and their families within a community health setting, specifically focusing on those with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, primarily in the clientsโ€™ homes or virtually, ensuring that services are delivered with respect and compassion.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at improving coping skills, enhancing social skills, and addressing high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) or aggression.
  • Assist families in building effective decision-making skills to navigate in-home behavioral challenges and improve overall family dynamics.
  • Collaborate consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team, coordinating with various professionals including social workers, educators, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
  • Submit documentation such as intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes promptly and accurately to ensure continuity of care and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings to share insights, receive feedback, and recommend service improvements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will primarily work with children aged 3 to 20 who are facing developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. This includes children experiencing a range of issues from behavioral difficulties to emotional regulation challenges. Your role will involve direct interaction not only with the children but also with their families, aiming to create a nurturing environment that supports growth, healing, and understanding.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Illinois is mandatory.
  • Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours during after-school hours (4-7 PM), with some weekend flexibility preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
