Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to create tailored treatment plans for individual clients.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to groups, families, couples, and individuals, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping them navigate the complexities of adolescence, fostering their resilience and emotional growth while also working closely with their families to ensure comprehensive support.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.
