Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position
The Department of Computer Systems Technology (CST) invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for Spring 2026, or Fall 2026. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach a variety of courses in electronics technology, information technology, and computer system technology programs. This is a temporary position.
The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of Computer Systems Technology. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teach face-to-face and/or online courses, attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, academic advising of students, supporting student organizations, and participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Department of Computer System Technology supports over 440 undergraduate majors and 71 masters and 30 doctoral graduate students. The CST Department prepares students to pursue technical, as well as technical management careers in all employment sectors. The program emphasizes acquisition of sound theoretical studies, as well as intensive hands-on experiences in the area of electronics technology.

Candidates must have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Information Technology, or a related field at the time of application.
