Key Responsibilities

As an LPC at our teen and young adult outpatient treatment center, you will:

  • Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions that encourage shared experiences and mutual support among clients.
  • Conduct personalized one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and develop effective coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients to create comprehensive and individualized treatment plans focused on achieving their specific mental health goals.
  • Utilize various assessment tools to monitor and evaluate client progress and outcomes, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Engage in regular multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and strategies to enhance client care and resolve complex case challenges.
  • Actively participate in ongoing professional development and peer consultation, ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic frequently faces a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. Your role will involve creating a safe and affirming atmosphere where clients can feel secure in articulating their struggles and triumphs.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
  • Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • Strong skills and knowledge in mental health treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will possess at least two years of direct experience in mental health counseling, particularly with adolescents and young adults. Experience within a telehealth environment and knowledge of substance abuse treatment modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
