• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' histories, needs, and motivations for seeking therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various modalities and therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's situation.
• Provide high-quality individual therapy sessions aimed at fostering personal growth, emotional resilience, and overall mental well-being.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress against established therapeutic goals, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Offer teletherapy services to accommodate clients with accessibility challenges, ensuring they can receive care regardless of their circumstances.
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation that meets ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including training, workshops, and peer supervision.

Our mental health counselors primarily serve a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a range of mental health issues. Your expertise will help clients develop coping strategies, gain insight into their situations, and work towards fulfilling their life goals.

• Current and valid clinical license in Maryland, such as LCMFT, LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW-C.
• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is mandatory, while a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and compassion, combined with a non-judgmental attitude towards clients.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle a caseload.

While a minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with additional experience will be favorably considered. Familiarity with treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-informed care can significantly enhance your application.
