• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for clients, utilizing clinical instruments to evaluate mental health status and formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions, addressing key issues such as trauma, substance abuse, anger management, and reentry planning.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment strategies and monitor client progress in alignment with the treatment objectives.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups focusing on topics like relapse prevention, coping skills, and life skills to empower clients.
• Collaborate actively with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care that respects each client's unique background and needs.
• Respond promptly to crises, offering intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning to mitigate risk and enhance client safety.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other legal regulations.
• Engage with correctional and telehealth staff to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages client rehabilitation and successful reintegration into society.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals involved in the correctional system, offering mental health services tailored to those navigating their psychological challenges. Your role will contribute to reducing recidivism by promoting mental wellness and providing essential coping mechanisms to support long-term success in society.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the principles of trauma-informed care.
• Proven assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic communication skills, demonstrating an ability to build rapport with clients.

• Experience working in a correctional or forensic mental health context is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering virtual counseling services is a plus.
