• Conduct thorough assessments of students' mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and individualized interviews.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each student, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate extensively with teachers, school administrators, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being.
• Remain updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health and social work to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

Your work will primarily focus on school-aged children and adolescents who are facing mental health challenges, including but not limited to, trauma, anxiety, and depression. You will play a vital role in helping these young individuals navigate their emotions, develop coping strategies, and achieve their academic and personal goals.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMSW) license in the state of New Jersey, allowing for the delivery of clinical services.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a strong foundation in active listening and empathy.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and partnership among diverse stakeholders.

A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience is preferred, particularly in settings that serve children and adolescents. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and school mental health systems will be highly advantageous.
