Promoboxx is growing, and we're looking for ambitious, passionate, and competitive people to join our Sales Dream Team.
As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in driving Promoboxx's growth by creating new conversations with senior leaders at top consumer brands. You'll partner closely with our New Business Account Executives to identify the right accounts, understand the business pain points and challenges our potential buyers face daily, and gain the attention of C-level marketing, sales, and executive decision-makers so we may have human discussions on how we are helping their peers solve these challenges. We strive to put ourselves in our potential buyers' seat to understand how to address their concerns and arm them with confidence to look like a hero with their decision making process.
You'll also receive sales training that only the top 1% performers leverage designed to help you build the foundation of a successful career. You'll learn how to combine the science of sales, including AI, data, research, targeting, and process, with the art of sales, including personalization, storytelling, relationship-building, and persuasive communication. We read best in class Sales books, debrief, and strive to incorporate best practices like we brush our teeth every day. At the end of the day, it is all about having a rewarding role, expanding our wallets, and seeing/supporting personal career growth goals.
This role is for someone who wants to do more than simply make calls. It's for someone who wants to learn how to rise above the noise, earn the attention of executives, and create real opportunities with leading brands. If you're coachable, resilient, curious, and motivated to win, this is an opportunity to grow quickly and make a meaningful impact on a high-performing team.
Here is what you'll be doing if you accept this challenge:
  • Exceed monthly buyer conversation quota.
  • Partner with your AEs to identify and be laser-focused targeting the ideal company profile (ICP) and C-level buyer persona titles.
  • Network via relationships, referrals as nothing replaces a referral.
  • Leverage smart, personalized outreach via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, events, and social media to gain the attention of and secure buyer conversations with our CEO/President, C-Level Marketing, and C-Level Sales buyer personas at specific ICP prospect accounts.
  • Clearly articulate the Promoboxx value proposition regarding how we are helping solve the pain points and challenges our buyer personas deal with on a daily basis to align with their business needs/use cases.
  • Effectively utilize our Salesforce CRM and Sales productivity tools to ensure our activity is entered for a real-time view into an account, knowledge sharing, and proper follow-up notification reminders.

How will you know if you are cut out for this role?
  • Minimum of 1+ years of related Sales experience, demonstrating your ability to excel in an outbound role.
  • Interest in a career in Sales with a passion for winning.
  • Positive attitude with the desire to work in a rapid-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Communicate in a clear and compelling manner with a friendly demeanor.
  • Articulate value and determine what is important to our buyer personas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable being on the phone to compliment written outbound prospecting.
  • Quick learner with an ability to solve problems.
  • Dependability, resourcefulness, resiliency, and creativity.
  • Earn results and success vs. entitlement mentality. There are people that talk about doing things and people that actually do things. You are a do'er with a refuse to lose mentality driven to meet or exceed individual goals.

Benefits to help you thrive:
  • Competitive base salary with uncapped motivating and lucrative variable commission plan.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision.
