Position Overview

Silver Way Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health counselor, specifically an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time position allows you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your home while contributing positively to our clients’ well-being.

About the Organization

At Silver Way Rehabilitation Center, we are committed to enhancing the mental wellness of our community. Located in Astoria, Oregon, our center has established a reputation for excellence in outpatient mental health services. Our focus is on providing personalized care tailored to our clients’ unique needs. As part of our network, you will be working alongside a diverse team of licensed therapists who share a common goal: to make a difference in the lives of our clients.

The role is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance that many professionals seek today. Our network employs cutting-edge technology to facilitate online therapy sessions, ensuring you have all the tools you need to engage effectively with clients. You will receive technical support, allowing you to focus on delivering quality counseling services without administrative hindrances. This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals who thrive in a remote setting while maintaining a sense of community and collaboration among peers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing platforms, addressing various mental health concerns.

  • Utilize solution-focused methodologies to guide clients through challenging situations and empower them with coping strategies.
  • Advocate for your clients’ needs, encouraging open and honest discussions while championing their personal insights and perspectives.
  • Participate in regular supervision and peer consultations to enhance your clinical skills and remain updated on best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve are pre-screened adults presenting with low acuity mental health concerns. They are stable individuals who are typically managing mild-to-moderate conditions such as anxiety and depression. Given this focus, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in a way that promotes healing and coping, without the overwhelming complexity of severe mental health cases.

Our matching system is designed to align you with clients who best fit your therapeutic specialties and preferred demographics, ensuring you are working in areas where you feel most effective and satisfied.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.
  • A valid license to practice independently as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
  • Demonstrated strong clinical skills with a track record of developing and executing effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology to conduct remote therapy sessions efficiently.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient therapy settings or those who have worked with diverse populations will be prioritized. Familiarity with telehealth practices is advantageous, as is a desire to continue learning within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, based on your experience and hours worked.
