Technical Business Analyst โ€“ Data & Reporting
Overview
Kaizen Analytix LLC, an analytics products and services company that gives clients unmatched speed to value through AI/ML solutions and actionable business insights, is seeking qualified candidates for a remote Technical Business Analyst โ€“ Data & Reporting to support enterprise reporting and financial system transformation initiatives.
This role plays a key part in defining reporting strategy, executing reporting cutover, and ensuring data integrity during migration from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms. The ideal candidate combines hands-on data expertise, strong business analysis skills, and effective stakeholder engagement, with the ability to deeply analyze reporting logic and drive outcomes collaboratively. You must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Business Acumen
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability toย gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements ensuringย endโ€‘toโ€‘end needs are met. Demonstrating active listening through clear and concise communication.
  • Strong collaboration and team building skills. Comfortable leading working sessions across business, finance, IT and QA teams; bridging non-technical and technical teams.ย  Managing expectations during high-impact transformation initiatives.
  • Working independently.ย  Ability to work with little supervision aligning to project plans and delivery timelines with quality.
  • Detail orientation. Comfortable diving deep into reports and other artifacts to build documentation to meet client specifications, i.e., Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Change Requirements Documents (CRDs), user stories, etc.
  • Adaptable. Comfortable and successful working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytic skills.ย  Ability to analyze business asks and translate requirements into clearly defined technical solutions and user stories. Validate solutions through UAT and confirm alignment with expected business outcomes.
Technical Skills
  • SQL (writing complex queries, joins, aggregations)
  • Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Experience working with databases and data warehouses, data mapping, lineage, and transformation logic
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience withย financial systems (e.g., Elite 3E or similar ERP platforms)
  • Familiarity withย reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS)
  • Experience withย data migration and reconciliation processes
