Job description

In this role you are a subject matter expert in HL7, 837, and CCDA interfaces who will manage the delivery of interface projects aiming to obtain Claims, Scheduling, and Clinical data from a wide variety of vendors to enable our partner practices to use key functionality in Aledade’s population health platform. The Sr Project Manager in Integrations will engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of interfaces from planning and discovery, connectivity, data delivery, and bringing respective interfaces live.

Primary Duties
  1. Provide critical leadership to ensure overall quality of project planning and execution, while minimizing and mitigating portfolio risks

    1. Managing the execution of multiple healthcare integrations projects’ lifecycle simultaneously in accordance with Aledade’s data specifications and service level agreements

    2. Provide the communication link between Integrations and internal partners (Implementation Data Operations, Development and Operations, Product Management, and associated leadership)

    3. Managing issues, decisions, risks, and escalations to management and/or stakeholders

    4. Be a technical problem solver on the team, identifying innovative solutions to project blockers and resolving issues and constraints through consensus and sound judgment

  2. Maintaining continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives. Make recommendations to modify program and prioritization to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent

    1. Manage the coordination and relationship with internal partners and stakeholders

    2. Manage the relationship with the external vendors which include vendor management, negotiations, and contract management

    3. Present regular updates on program health to leadership

  3. Provide the management of tasks supporting business continuity of the portfolio

    1. Managing all tasks that supports the presence of all active interfaces

    2. Providing assistance in finding solutions of critical issues affecting active interfaces

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of program management or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years experience with APIs, HL7 v2/v3, ORU, XDS.b, XDA, XDM, SFTP, VPN, 837, or related communication protocols

  • 4+ years experience with interoperability standards and methodologies

  • 4+ years experience working with electronic health record (EHR), practice management, billing system, hospital system, etc.

  • Experience and strong skills in negotiating contracts with vendors

Preferred KSA’s
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare administrative and clinical data sets, including scheduling, financial, and clinical data

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare scheduling, claims, clinical data sets

  • A strong data-driven mentality and prioritization framework to ensure focus on the highest impact work. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to self-serve to collect/query data and use data to back up assumptions and develop business cases

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and building subject matter expertise

  • Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration, influence, and communication (both verbal and written with audiences of varying technical abilities and business contexts); an ability to achieve clarity and drive focus in a complex and dynamic environment

  • Master’s degree in a technical field or other relevant fields

  • Strong understanding of administrative and/or clinical workflows in the ambulatory healthcare setting

  • Jira, Salesforce, and Tableau experience

  • Working knowledge of Mirth interface engine

  • PMP certification
