As an IT Systems Analyst, you'll help connect business needs with practical system solutions by supporting critical applications, improving workflows, and partnering with stakeholders across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning how systems work, and helping teams get the most value from the tools they use every day.

What you'll do

Your work will help maintain strong system performance, support business continuity, and improve processes for internal users and members.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Serve as an application administrator and subject matter expert for assigned business applications.
  • Provide Level-2 support for critical application issues, managing internal and vendor tickets through resolution.
  • Maintain application configurations, product settings, documentation, and ongoing system support activities.
  • Partner with Information Security, Database, Infrastructure Services, business teams, and vendors to support secure, reliable application performance.
  • Assist with enhancements, upgrades, hot fixes, database refreshes, testing efforts, and after-hours updates when business needs require it.
  • Execute SQL queries and analyze data to help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, technical specifications, data analysis, and end-to-end system documentation.
  • Support project managers, business analysts, and other systems analysts with task execution, estimates, implementation planning, and change control processes.
  • Evaluate releases, enhancements, and new product offerings to identify business value, operational efficiencies, and user impact.
  • Monitor vendor and service provider performance to help ensure service quality and support expectations are met.
What you bring

We're looking for someone who is analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working across both business and technology teams. Successful candidates bring sound judgment, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Systems Analyst, or equivalent role, preferably in financial services, banking, or credit unions.
  • Experience supporting business applications, systems analysis, application administration, or a comparable technology-focused role.
  • Experience gathering requirements, supporting quality assurance or testing activities, and helping implement software or process improvements.
  • Experience managing tickets, troubleshooting issues, documenting resolutions, and coordinating with vendors or technical partners.
  • Experience supporting integrated software solutions and understanding how business processes connect to system workflows.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of business processes, particularly within a credit union or financial institution context.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced and complex business environment with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of application security considerations, including user access, user roles, imported and exported data, and data storage.
  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the flexibility to shift priorities as needed.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
  • Commitment to providing excellent service to Truliant's members, both internal and external.
  • Ability to work in a general office environment.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required.

You should also be comfortable partnering with business and technology teams, supporting applications that are important to daily operations, and adapting quickly as priorities, systems, and business needs evolve.

  • Experience with functional, system, regression, or automated testing.
What you'll get
