This position operates primarily in an outpatient office setting, leveraging remote technology to provide therapy and counseling services. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure that our clients receive holistic and seamless care. • Provide timely on-call crisis intervention services and emergency consultations during regular working hours.
• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, assessing not only the mental health status but also the criminal and substance abuse history of clients.
• Evaluate and document suicide risk using clinical precision to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
• Deliver crisis intervention and psychotherapy, adapting your techniques to effectively manage therapy sessions, even in challenging or unconventional settings.
• Collaborate closely with both medical and support staff to accurately diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders, contributing to comprehensive treatment plans.
• Create detailed clinical reports and develop tailored treatment plans based on established standard practice guidelines.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient care, adhering to ethical standards and legal reporting requirements while monitoring client progress.
• Coordinate with care teams, actively recommending adjustments in treatment strategies based on patient feedback and progress.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic techniques and educational resources to support clients effectively.

Your primary clients will include mothers and individuals from marginalized communities. This role requires sensitivity to the socioeconomic determinants of health that impact mental wellness. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges while addressing the broader social factors affecting their lives.

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.
• An independent license to practice in mental health (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• Proficient computer skills including the utilization of electronic medical records (EMR) systems, as well as effective communication via email.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse and sizable caseload while effectively interacting with clients and support staff.

• Extensive knowledge of co-occurring mental health and substance dependence disorders.
• Experience conducting mental health assessments, community outreach, and substance abuse treatment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for on-site visits, particularly to veterans' homes as required.
