About Emerging Tech
At Emerging Tech, we support government and public sector customers through technology, cybersecurity, and mission driven solutions. As a growing SDVOSB, 8(a), and HUBZone company, we provide our team with the opportunity to take ownership, work directly with clients and leadership, and contribute to meaningful government missions.
We're big enough to take on meaningful government work, but still small enough that your expertise and ideas have a direct impact. If you enjoy solving complex problems, working with talented teams, and having a real role in building something that's growing, you'll fit right in at Emerging Tech.
Role Overview
The Reporting & Quality Assurance Analyst will own quality control and the integrity of the program's reporting products. This role will review deliverables and evidence packages for sufficiency, traceability, accuracy, and consistency before client submission.

Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Perform independent quality assurance reviews of deliverables and evidence packages prior to client submission.
โ€ข Verify traceability from test objectives through procedures, evidence, findings, and recommendations.
โ€ข Apply factual findings reporting discipline consistent with Agreed Upon Procedures engagements, ensuring work products report observations rather than opinions or conclusions.
โ€ข Develop and maintain compliance matrices, agency scorecards, and enterprise roll up reporting.
โ€ข Design and maintain normalized scoring models that enable consistent comparison of results across participating agencies.
โ€ข Maintain document control, version control, and deliverable submission and acceptance logs.
โ€ข Maintain the lessons learned repository and develop knowledge transfer materials and job aids.
โ€ข Review outbound work products for confidential and exempt information prior to release.
โ€ข Translate technical testing results into clear executive level reports and audit ready documentation.
โ€ข Support consistent reporting across multiple agencies, projects, and business units.
Required Technical Skills
โ€ข 3+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity assessments, audits, compliance programs, quality assurance processes, or technical reporting.
โ€ข Experience producing deliverables reviewed and accepted by clients, auditors, or regulators.
โ€ข Experience producing consistent reporting across multiple projects, clients, or business units.
โ€ข Ability to review technical evidence for sufficiency, quality, traceability, and consistency.
โ€ข Working knowledge of NIST CSF, Rule 60GG-2, F.A.C., CIS Benchmarks, and internal audit documentation requirements.
โ€ข Ability to create compliance matrices, testing summaries, agency scorecards, and enterprise roll up reports.
โ€ข Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Python and Pandas, and data visualization tools.
โ€ข Experience analyzing SIEM output, vulnerability scans, configuration assessments, cloud logs, and Active Directory data.
โ€ข Strong quality assurance and document control experience.
โ€ข Ability to perform peer reviews and enforce project quality standards.
โ€ข Experience producing structured reporting across multiple organizations, including executive summaries and statewide roll ups.
โ€ข Experience maintaining lessons learned repositories and supporting knowledge transfer efforts.
โ€ข Excellent technical writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Minimum Qualifications
โ€ข 3+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity assessments, audits, compliance, quality assurance, or technical reporting.
โ€ข Demonstrated experience producing client, audit, or regulator reviewed deliverables.
โ€ข Experience managing reporting and quality across multiple projects, clients, or business units.
โ€ข Must reside in the state of Florida.
Certifications

โ€ข Prior experience supporting an Office of Inspector General or independent audit function.
โ€ข Familiarity with public records exemption handling for cybersecurity findings.
