• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client's unique situation.
• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans, taking into consideration their needs, goals, and preferences to foster a sense of ownership in their recovery journey.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in addressing their mood disorders effectively.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote understanding and support.
• Monitor client progress throughout the duration of therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Engage in a multidisciplinary approach by collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals, ensuring integrated and cohesive care.
• Remain informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic approaches and patient outcomes.
• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to encourage continuous learning and adherence to best practices in mental health care.
• Advocate for the needs of clients, working towards de-stigmatizing mood disorders and fostering an inclusive environment for mental health discussions.

Your work will focus on individuals grappling with mood disorders, employing individualized treatment strategies that acknowledge the complexities of each patient's experiences. You will engage with a diverse clientele, ensuring culturally competent care that respects their unique backgrounds and perspectives. By addressing mental health needs and fostering a therapeutic alliance, you will help clients navigate their challenges towards improved mental health.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practices for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaborations with medical professionals.
• Proven history of delivering successful therapy outcomes for mood disorder clients, showcasing effective intervention strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience in a remote or telehealth setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to manage patient documentation and scheduling efficiently.
• Previous involvement in professional development opportunities specifically focused on mood disorders.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 - 100,000 annually, reflective of your experience and expertise.
