• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat to help clients improve their mental health and emotional well-being.
• Encourage clients to explore their emotions, experiences, and relationships to foster self-awareness and insight.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining their personal goals and developing actionable plans.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions to craft and implement effective, solution-focused treatment plans based on your professional expertise.
• Maintain ongoing evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the best possible outcomes for your clients.

Your client base will consist of stable adults with low acuity mental health needs, ensuring a manageable workload without the pressure of handling severe cases. All clients are rigorously screened before accessing services, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care. Additionally, you will have the benefit of being matched with clients whose needs align with your areas of specialization and demographic preferences, enhancing the therapeutic relationship.

• A completed Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• You must hold a valid and unrestricted license to practice as a mental health counselor in your state, including one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature in dealing effectively with clients.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools to conduct therapy sessions and manage client information.

While not mandatory, experience in remote counseling or teletherapy, and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, prior work with clients facing moderate mental health challenges and a proven track record of developing successful treatment plans will be beneficial.
