• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of students’ social, emotional, and behavioral health needs, utilizing standardized tools and strategies.
• Develop personalized and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student's specific circumstances and goals.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions that incorporate solution-focused and trauma-informed interventions.
• Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external providers to ensure integrated support for students.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay current with advancements in mental health practices and contribute to a culture of continual learning.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, which includes assessing risk and developing safety plans.

This role focuses primarily on students from diverse backgrounds, including those facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. You will work closely with children and adolescents, fostering resilience and equipping them with coping strategies to manage their challenges effectively. Your contribution will aid in improving students' academic performance, social interaction, and overall quality of life.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with a preference for experience in school or adolescent settings.
• Strong proficiency in applying evidence-based psychotherapy techniques and tailored interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with students and families.
• Ability to thrive within a collaborative environment while demonstrating independent problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience working in educational settings or with youth populations.
• Familiarity with school policies, special education processes, and community resources for youth.
