Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your critical day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the needs and progress of clients undergoing detoxification.
  • Engaging in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) to provide targeted strategies and support for clients and their families.
  • Monitoring and documenting client outcomes to measure the effectiveness of interventions as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Delivering guidance and support to families, helping them understand the process of recovery and their role in their loved oneโ€™s journey.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations to maintain high standards of ethical practice.
  • Employing a coaching model and natural environment teaching techniques to facilitate a positive and engaging learning experience for clients.
  • Creating a respectful rapport with children, families, and team members to foster a supportive healing atmosphere.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals who are in the early stages of recovery from substance use disorders. This position will focus on establishing connections with clients and their families, providing them with the emotional support and guidance necessary during a critical transitional period in their lives. You will engage with diverse client backgrounds, understanding their individual experiences and developing suitable therapies to promote healing.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Masterโ€™s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, with a valid LCSW.
  • Licensing by the Department of Public Health for Social Work.
