The future you want is within reach. Let's build it together.

At PCL Constructors Inc., part of the PCL Family of Companies (PCL), we don't just build projects --  we build opportunities, careers and communities. • Access to world-class training through PCL's College of Construction and professional development courses
  • Ongoing opportunities to learn new skills, explore different roles and grow your career across sectors and regions

Why Tax at PCL?

PCL’s Tax Group provides a broad range of tax services to a complex, employee-owned construction organization operating across multiple jurisdictions. While tax compliance and provisions are core responsibilities, the Tax Group also plays an important advisory role within the business.

In this role, you will gain exposure to a variety of technical tax areas and business issues that can help accelerate your development as a tax professional. You will work with internal finance and operational teams, support project accounting groups, liaise with tax authorities, and contribute to practical tax solutions that support PCL’s business objectives.

The Tax Group’s work includes corporate income taxes, federal and provincial sales taxes, tax credits and incentives, GRIP and safe income calculations, international reporting requirements, foreign affiliate reporting, non-resident withholdings, and surplus calculations.

You will also have the opportunity to support emerging and specialized tax initiatives, including:

  • Tax provision automation and next-generation data tools
  • Corporate structures and acquisitions
  • International tax matters, including BEPS developments
  • Transfer pricing
  • Budget announcements and their impact on PCL and its stakeholders
  • Tax incentives and other business advisory matters

This is a role where you can build strong technical tax foundations while also developing the communication, advisory, and business-partnering skills needed to grow within a sophisticated corporate tax environment.
