Director of Revenue | Columbia Hospitality
(Location: Remote)

The Director of Revenue is responsible for leading and executing revenue management strategies across a small portfolio of hotel properties to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall profitability. This role oversees pricing, inventory management, forecasting, distribution strategy, and market positioning while partnering closely with property leadership, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to drive revenue performance and achieve organizational goals. The Director of Revenue provides strategic direction, analytical insight, and leadership support to ensure consistent revenue optimization practices across all assigned properties.

What Success Looks Like:
 Your Impact

  • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies for assigned hotel properties to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability.
  • Oversee pricing, inventory control, forecasting, and distribution strategies across all assigned hotels.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, STR reports, demand patterns, and economic conditions to identify revenue opportunities and risks.
  • Drive improvements in ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, and total revenue performance through strategic pricing and inventory management.
  • Optimize channel distribution strategies across brand, OTA, wholesale, group, and direct booking channels.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to align promotional initiatives, group strategies, and market segmentation efforts with revenue objectives.
  • Lead weekly and monthly revenue strategy meetings with property leadership teams to evaluate performance, pace, forecasting, and market positioning.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to executive leadership.
  • Monitor and evaluate property performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year benchmarks.
  • Ensure revenue management systems, property management systems (PMS), central reservation systems (CRS), and distribution channels are properly configured and fully optimized.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, reporting accuracy, and revenue-related processes across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations leadership to ensure revenue strategies align with operational capabilities and guest experience standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop on-property revenue, reservations, and front office leaders to strengthen revenue management capabilities across the organization.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of revenue data, reporting, forecasting, and system utilization.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary company, financial, and guest information.
  • Support new hotel openings, transitions, system implementations, and special revenue projects as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned by management to support departmental and organizational goals.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred – or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive hotel revenue management experience
  • Prior multi-property or regional oversight strongly preferred
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency with hotel revenue technologies including PMS, CRS, RMS, channel management, and STR reporting tools.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, including forecasting, budgeting, and P&L analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, delegating, and performance management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel between assigned properties as needed.
  • Open to Seattle based and fully remote candidates within the US.
