Empower Edge Psychotherapy Inc. is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our innovative team. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility in your work-life integration while connecting with clients through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions via telehealth, engaging clients with various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and establish personalized treatment plans that align with each individual's goals and challenges.
  • Provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation; equip clients and their families with tools to navigate mental health challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from diverse healthcare backgrounds to ensure a well-rounded approach to client care, sharing insights and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and quality care.
  • Stay engaged with the latest research, treatment modalities, and best practices in the field of mental health counseling through ongoing education and professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide array of clients, including individuals from various culturally and economically diverse backgrounds. Your primary focus will be on delivering tailored mental health counseling to adults facing emotional distress and psychological challenges. The role requires sensitivity to the unique struggles of each client, providing culturally competent care that respects their individual experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is essential.
  • Must possess an active independent LPC license sanctioned by the state of Oregon.
  • Strong ability to document clinical records and prepare comprehensive treatment reports.
  • Capable of working effectively within an interdisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with a talent for expressing complex ideas in an understandable manner.
  • Proven ability to exercise autonomous judgment and make sound decisions based on professional expertise.
  • A history of providing effective counseling services to clients from diverse populations is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines is critical.
  • Flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of clients and the organization.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in teletherapy or remote client management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various counseling methodologies and mental health treatment models.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annual, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
