Our international law firm client has a Senior Accountant opportunity available. This fully remote, contract position (starting early September and ending in December-January) is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with financial data, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management decision-making.
  • Support financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.
  • Collaborate with accounting, finance, and cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve reporting.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions and reporting tools to interpret and present financial data.
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and special assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be able to work MST or PST hours
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, and complex formulas.
  • Experience working effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Aderant ERP or similar accounting systems.
