Job description

Systems Analyst
Rebus is an end-to-end warehousing strategy company that uses real-time data to manage people, processes, and warehouses through The Rebus® Platform and WMS consulting services purpose-built to expand and enhance warehouse technologies.
We take a holistic approach to warehousing strategy, understanding that technology is only one piece in the solution process. Our warehouse experts work with customers to understand challenges and goals, developing a recommendation that's aligned to the customer's business objectives and supply chain initiatives.
What to expect!
As a Systems Analyst, you'll design, build, and maintain the metrics, dashboards, and data pipelines that power our clients' warehouse operations.
You'll work directly with client data: writing and optimizing SQL, configuring solutions, and troubleshooting across relational and non-relational systems, to turn raw data into decisions clients can act on.
  • This role is Remote in the United States.

Once you join our team, you will...
  • Design and implement metrics and dashboards based on client requirements, leading configuration end to end
  • Build data extractions through data mining and analysis; write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries across relational (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) systems
  • Configure client solutions and lead quality assurance to ensure implementations meet requirements and drive user adoption
  • Participate in peer review of queries, metrics, and visualizations; give feedback and maintain clear documentation
  • Troubleshoot data issues and resolve architecture problems across relational and non-relational databases
  • Provide technical training to clients as needed
  • Maintain the team's code repository, including documentation of customer setups, metric design, and SQL development
  • Retrieve, clean, and manage client data throughout implementation
  • Collaborate with team members to scope and implement client requirements
  • Comply with Rebus SOC2 policies and practices

What You'll Bring...
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
  • Experience with MongoDB (aggregation pipeline) or another NoSQL database
  • Experience working with APIs
  • Knowledge of at least one major supply chain/WMS platform (Blue Yonder/JDA, HighJump, Manhattan, SAP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of supply chain and distribution/warehousing processes
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to speed up SQL writing, debugging, and documentation
  • Nice to have: experience building or configuring automation workflows that incorporate AI/LLM tools for data extraction, cleansing, or documentation
  • Comfortable working in both Windows and UNIX environments, and with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly translate ambiguous requirements into design and implementation
  • Self-starter who can work independently, multitask, and stay effective under pressure with flexible hours/shifts
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Genuine passion for customer success
  • Up to 30% travel to customer sites

Why Join Rebus?
  • Supportive work environment
  • Work/life balance
  • Competitive Salary
  • 4-weeks of paid vacation
  • 6 paid sick days, 2 paid personal days per year
  • Excellent health and dental benefits, eligible as of your first day!
  • Group RRSP/401k Matching
  • Work from Home
