Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health and develop effective care plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs, incorporating modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to promote healing and skill development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic client care, sharing insights and progress reports to ensure continuity in treatment.
• Provide guidance and support to families during the therapeutic process, helping them understand and navigate their loved ones’ challenges.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to legal and ethical standards, including HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families experiencing relationship issues, communication barriers, and family dynamics challenges. Our patients come from various backgrounds, and your role is to provide empathetic and culturally sensitive therapy that addresses their unique circumstances and promotes lasting change.

Qualifications

• A current, valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential for understanding complex family systems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Empathy, nonjudgmental attitudes, and a genuine desire to assist clients in their healing journeys.
