This role offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexible scheduling while maintaining access to the school community you will serve. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mental health status and establish personalized treatment plans for students experiencing various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, or behavioral issues.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques tailored to the specific needs of students.
• Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and administrators to coordinate care plans that address the emotional and psychological needs of students effectively.
• Provide families with informative resources and support, facilitating their involvement in the treatment process and fostering understanding of mental health concerns.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records while adhering to state and federal regulations concerning privacy and ethical guidelines.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document sessions, track progress, and communicate with other members of the care team efficiently.

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, representing diverse backgrounds and mental health needs. This role involves addressing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment difficulties. Your adaptability and cultural competence will be essential in delivering thoughtful and relevant therapeutic support to each student.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum educational requirement of a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with a preference for those holding a master's degree.
• Proven knowledge and skills in providing mental health counseling, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices relevant to children and adolescents.
• Ability to establish therapeutic rapport with clients, demonstrating patience and optimism while guiding them through their recovery.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams focused on developing and implementing comprehensive care.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, particularly within a school or community-based setting.
• Experience employing trauma-informed care and possessing specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or similar methodologies.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 – 104,000 based on qualifications and experience level.
