Linux System Administrator, Senior
The Opportunity:
Install systems on dedicated infrastructure, ensure the infrastructure is functional and available, and update and patch critical systems. Provide customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Accomplish work without considerable direction.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with systems administration
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
  • Experience with managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi
  • Knowledge of Linux iptables, networking configuration, and DNS
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with AWS DevOps, Cloud Formation
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as SaltStack or Ansible
  • Experience with Python, YAML, or JSON
  • DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
