As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Mental Aid Psychological Services, you will be essential in supporting students' mental health. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate students’ mental health needs and risks.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices and the specific circumstances of each student.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help students manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that records are accurate and secure.
• Collaborating closely with teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care and implement programs that promote mental health awareness and support.
• Offering educational resources and support to students and their families to help them navigate the complexities of mental health treatment and community resources.
• Staying current with the latest research and practices in mental health care and incorporating this knowledge into treatment plans.

This position primarily serves a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents, many of whom face unique challenges related to anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and family dynamics. You will work closely with students from various cultural backgrounds, ensuring a culturally competent and sensitive approach to care. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a supportive environment that promotes mental well-being in schools.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience focusing on psychotherapy with children and adolescents.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and the ability to apply them effectively in a school setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, families, and collaboration with school staff.

• Experience working in a school-based environment or with youth populations.
