Talent and Operations Administrator

Job Summary: Talent and Operations Administrator is an entry-level data entry and scheduling support position responsible for maintaining accurate worker information, assisting with recruitment and onboarding coordination, and supporting daily staffing needs. This role helps manage candidate and employee data, skill lists, role capabilities, EANs, traveler pool ratings, pre-screening requirements, travel and lodging arrangements, and communication with candidates, employees, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, professional, and able to follow established processes while supporting timely and accurate workforce scheduling.

This is an hourly position reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager. This position will be located in either the Elko or Salt Lake City facility.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

Maintain worker databases, skill lists, role capabilities, EANs, and traveler pool ratings to support accurate staffing decisions.

Communicate with candidates and new hires throughout the hiring, pre-screening, onboarding, and orientation process.

Coordinate physicals, pre-screening requirements, hotel accommodations, travel arrangements, and related scheduling needs.

Partner with recruiters, planners, department managers, Safety, and Human Resources to support hiring needs and workforce scheduling.

Assist with candidate review by gathering and organizing information related to knowledge, skills, experience, and job fit.

Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

Interact with employees, candidates, and company personnel in a helpful, courteous manner and complete additional duties as assigned.

Human Resources:

  • Assist with new hire orientation programs
  • Assist in maintaining the Applicant Tracking System and training of hiring managers
  • Respond to employee questions/concerns

Requirements:

Must be available to answer calls on weekends and evenings when necessary.

Entry-level position; prior data entry experience is helpful but not required.

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Ability to accurately enter, update, and maintain information in company systems and databases.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational skills and ability to follow established processes and instructions.

Ability to communicate professionally with employees, candidates, and internal team members.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
