Job Description/Responsibilities

Note: This role is fully remote. No flexibility outside of these locations: Florida (Tampa, Miami or Orlando, Georgia (Atlanta), Texas (Dallas or Houston).

This Category Manager-Liquor Channel role is built for someone who wants their work to directly influence how we win in-store. You'll partner closely with Sales to turn data into sharp, actionable strategies that drive distribution, shelf expansion, and real growth across the liquor channel. We're looking for someone who moves beyond "what happened" and consistently pushes toward "what should we do next." You'll have the autonomy to own your work end-to-end in a remote environment, with clear visibility and impact on the business.

What You'll Do

Own the full process- from pulling and analyzing raw, imperfect data to turning it into clear, compelling selling stories that Sales teams can use to win in market Partner closely with Sales, ensuring insights show up in customer conversations and translate to execution on the shelf Proactively identify and prioritize growth opportunities across assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions - and push them through to action Build high-impact tools and visuals that make it easy for the field to act on insights Stay connected to the market and validate your thinking in-store, ensuring strategies reflect real-world conditions and actually deliver results

Qualifications/Requirements

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field

  • 6+ years of experience in Category Management, Shopper Insights, Trade Marketing, or Customer Strategy within CPG or beverage industries

  • Proven ability to turn data into clear, customer-facing recommendations that drive measurable business results
  • Strong expertise in syndicated data (Nielsen, Circana), numerator, panel data, and retailer-specific platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
 

Preferred:

Experience supporting large national or regional retail accounts, particularly in high-volume environments Background in beverage, alcohol, or other DSD categories Experience with advanced data tools (e.g., SQL, Alteryx, Tableau) or building scalable reporting solutionsCulture and Benefits
