Weโre hiring an experienced Switchgear Estimator to support commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and military projects for one of Southern Californiaโs fastest growing independent electrical distributors.This is not a giant corporate distributor buried in layers of approvals and red tape. Compensation
- $70,000 - $110,000+ base salary DOE
- Quarterly bonus program targeting 15% - 20%+ additional earnings (paid out incrementally every quarter)
- Fully remote flexibility
- Long-term path into Project Management or senior technical leadership
What Youโll Be Doing
- Quote low voltage and medium voltage switchgear projects.
- Review BOMโs, one-lines, drawings, and specifications.
- Support projects ranging from repetitive panelboard packages to complex $1M+ switchgear jobs.
- Work directly with contractors, manufacturers, PMโs, and leadership.
- Handle MCCโs, switchboards, panelboards, and 4,000+ Amp distribution equipment.
What we're Looking For:
- 2-10 years' of experience with Switchgear estimating or quotations experience within electrical distribution
- Low/Medium voltage and MCC experience required
- Military/government project exposure is a plus
- Eaton Gear and Bidman experience preferred
- Someone technical, organized, responsive, and comfortable operating independently
- Pacific Time Zone support required, preference is for PST, MST, & CST. Remote candidates welcome nationwide.
