• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs, using standardized assessment tools and interviews to inform care strategies.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Design and implement personalized service plans tailored to clients' aspirations and circumstances, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
• Actively advocate for clients' rights, ensuring they have access to essential resources and services, while addressing broader social justice issues pertinent to their circumstances.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives, collaborating with local organizations to promote mental health awareness and service accessibility.
• Engage in program development and evaluation efforts, contributing to grant writing and reporting processes to secure funding for continued service expansion.
• Attend regular team meetings, engage in training opportunities, and participate in case discussions to ensure coordinated care and professional development.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Positive Progression Psychology, you will focus primarily on underserved populations experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Clients may include individuals struggling with addiction, trauma, mental illness, or socioeconomic barriers. Your expertise will be pivotal in addressing their unique circumstances and providing essential support during their recovery journeys.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and culturally competent practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a capacity for empathy and active listening.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage caseload effectively and meet deadlines.

• At least one year of clinical experience in a nonprofit or similar settings.
• Familiarity with case management systems and mental health documentation practices.
• Experience with community outreach and program development initiatives.
