Function First Therapy Center is seeking a committed and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our remote team. This role is uniquely positioned to be fully remote, allowing you flexibility and the opportunity to engage with clients from the comfort of your own workspace. Our telehealth environment leverages technology to facilitate secure video consultations, ensuring accessibility for clients irrespective of their location. You will have the support of a collaborative team while operating independently in a virtual setting.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments remotely to evaluate clients' psychological state and emotional well-being.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that embrace evidence-based methodologies and client-driven goals.
• Facilitate engaging and effective therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, addressing various issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery.
• Continuously monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adjust therapy techniques as necessary to enhance effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive care tailored to clients’ needs.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client cases from initial assessment through treatment and follow-up, all within our secure electronic health record system.
• Assist clients in managing lifestyle adjustments and personal challenges, including advocating for their wellness in navigating mental health resources.
• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers as they help their loved ones on their mental health journey.

You will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals facing significant life transitions, couples seeking to strengthen their relationships, families dealing with collective challenges, and groups that benefit from shared experiences. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to express, explore, and work through their mental health concerns.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• A passing score on the National Counseling Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE).
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, for efficient case management.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues, substance use disorders, and their implications on treatment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
• Empathetic and relatable interpersonal skills, ensuring clients feel valued and heard in a telehealth setting.

• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Experience working with clients who have co-occurring physical and mental health conditions.
• Knowledge of the effects and management of various psychotropic medications prescribed by medical professionals.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually.
