Job description

The Operations Support Coordinator is a full-time professional responsible for providing exceptional operational, administrative, and member support to the Major Gifts Ramp-Up organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this individual serves as a key point of contact for nonprofit leaders, members, customers, partners, and internal staff.

This position combines customer service, administrative support, product demonstrations, member success, technology support, research, and operational coordination. The successful candidate will help ensure every interaction with Major Gifts Ramp-Up reflects professionalism, responsiveness, and a commitment to outstanding service.

This is primarily a remote position; however, candidates must be available to report to the office on a quarterly basis for training, meetings, special projects, and occasional business needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Executive & Operations Support

  • Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Provide administrative and operational support as assigned.
  • Assist with day-to-day operational projects and priorities.
  • Coordinate multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain organized records, documents, and digital files.
  • Support internal workflows and special initiatives.

Member Support

  • Serve as a friendly and professional first point of contact for members and prospective members.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Respond promptly to emails and member inquiries.
  • Assist members with membership renewals and credentialing payments.
  • Support members throughout the NANOE credentialing process.
  • Resolve routine member questions or direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.

Product Demonstrations

Conduct live virtual demonstrations of:

  • DonorScope
  • Major Gifts Ramp-Up Cloud

Product Assistance

  • Assist members as they use DonorScope.
  • Help users navigate online platforms.
  • Troubleshoot common technical issues.
  • Guide members through platform features and functionality.
  • Ensure members have a positive onboarding experience.

Administrative & Data Management

  • Enter and maintain data in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets.
  • Maintain accurate member records.
  • Assist with database organization and updates.

Research

  • Research nonprofit organizations throughout the United States.
  • Locate executive leadership contact information.
  • Verify organizational information using online research tools.
  • Compile research into organized spreadsheets and databases.

Virtual Meeting Support

  • Schedule and coordinate Zoom meetings.
  • Manage Zoom sessions with multiple participants.
  • Provide technical assistance before and during meetings.
  • Support webinars, online meetings, and virtual events.

Team Support

Provide operational support to:

  • Chief Executive Officer
  • Chief Operating Officer
  • Chief Marketing Officer
  • Business Development Executive
  • Major Gifts Ramp-Up Counselors

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of professional customer service, administrative support, operations support, or related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
