Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Consultant to join our growing Life Sciences team, based onsite out of our Brookfield, WI location (with the option to work remotely up to one day/week).ย  In this role, you will partner with biotech and pharmaceutical companies to design, implement, and optimize Supply Chain processes, business systems, and operating models that support clinical development, commercialization, and growth.

Working closely with Supply Chain leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate business needs into scalable operational solutions, lead functional initiatives, implement enabling technologies, and drive execution across complex programs.

The ideal candidate combines Supply Chain expertise, ERP and business systems experience, strong project leadership, and client-facing consulting skills. You will thrive in the dynamic environment of emerging life sciences companies, where priorities evolve quickly and consultants often operate as an extension of the client team.

Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Strategy & Operational Excellence
    • Partner with client leadership to assess Supply Chain capabilities and design scalable processes, operating models, and solutions that support clinical development, commercialization, and growth.
    • Advise clients on leading practices across supply and demand planning, procurement, inventory management, external manufacturing, logistics and distribution, and S&OP/IBP.
    • Develop functional strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans that translate business objectives into actionable Supply Chain initiatives.
  • ย Business Analysis & Solution Design
    • Lead discovery and design workshops to understand business processes, operational requirements, pain points, and future-state objectives.
    • Develop process maps, functional requirements, use cases, workflows, and solution documentation.
    • Design future-state processes and identify opportunities to improve operations through technology, automation, process redesign, and leading practices.
  • System Implementation & Configuration
    • Configure and implement ERP and business systems, including solution design, system setup, testing, validation, deployment, and post-go-live support.
    • Develop workflows, dashboards, reports, saved searches, and other configuration-based enhancements.
    • Collaborate with client and technical resources to translate business requirements into scalable functional system solutions.
  • Project Management & Delivery
    • Lead Supply Chain transformation and implementation initiatives, managing scope, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables from planning through go-live.
    • Serve as a functional project manager, coordinating cross-functional activities and driving execution across client stakeholders, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, decision logs, RAID logs, status reports, dashboards, and other project management tools.
    • Support commercialization and launch readiness by coordinating Supply Chain deliverables, tracking functional readiness, and ensuring alignment with broader organizational milestones.
  • Testing, Training & User Adoption
    • Develop test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and business acceptance.
    • Design and deliver end-user and administrator training to support successful adoption of new processes and systems.
    • Support deployment, cutover, hypercare, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer to ensure operational readiness and continuity.
  • Documentation & Business Process Development
    • Develop SOPs, Work Instructions, business policies, process documentation, training materials, and system administration guides.
    • Establish sustainable governance, process ownership, and documentation that can scale as client organizations grow.
    • Ensure documentation aligns with client quality standards, business requirements, and applicable regulatory expectations.
  • Stakeholder & Change Management
    • Build trusted relationships with client leaders and coordinate across Supply Chain, Technical Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Commercial, IT, and external partners.
    • Facilitate cross-functional alignment, decision-making, and resolution of risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.
    • Support organizational change management and develop executive communications, status updates, and decision-support materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • 3โ€“6 years of experience in ERP system implementations & support, supply chain management, business analysis, or consulting roles within life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong understanding of supply and demand planning, ERP systems, and supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a consulting environment, managing multiple projects/clients simultaneously.
  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
