• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that are aligned with evidence-based practices and the specific needs of clients.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally responsive techniques to engage clients from various backgrounds.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical situations, ensuring client safety and wellbeing.
• Communicate effectively with clients, offering practical tools and strategies to navigate their mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive care.

Our counselors will engage with a wide spectrum of patients facing mental health challenges, including— but not limited to—adult clients dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. • A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• In-depth knowledge of a range of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
• A commitment to ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Experience in providing therapy within a community health setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Experience providing crisis intervention and managing high-stress situations.
