In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Provide weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students and new therapists, assisting them as they navigate their clinical licensure processes.
• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy services tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, and families, employing evidence-based practices to promote healing and resilience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, as well as external community resources, to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, drawing on your clinical knowledge and ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and clinical notes, adhering to organizational standards and ethical guidelines.
• Stay abreast of advances in the mental health field, continually integrating new research findings into your therapeutic practice.

Your work will focus on a diverse clientele, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and various other mental health challenges. You will be required to adapt your therapeutic approaches to fit the unique needs of each client, promoting a safe and supportive environment for individuals, couples, and families seeking healing and growth.

The ideal candidate for this position possesses:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid state license in California (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT).
• Professional liability insurance.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Harold Psychiatric Center offers a competitive compensation package, with full-time therapists earning between $115,000 to $130,000 annually. Part-time positions are also available, offering a salary of $65,000 per year. In addition to attractive salaries, our benefits package includes:
