This position offers an opportunity for a licensed therapist with supervisory experience, particularly with practicum students, to play an essential role in delivering holistic psychotherapy services while shaping the next generation of mental health professionals.

About the Organization

At Harold Psychiatric Center, our mission is rooted in empowering individuals to embark on their journeys of recovery, self-discovery, and personal growth. We believe in celebrating mental health and strive to bridge the gap between mental wellness and everyday life by acting as agents of positive change. As an organization dedicated to authenticity and transformation, we aim to provide a supportive and nurturing environment not just for our clients, but for every member of our professional family.

Work Environment

This full-time position is a remote opportunity, allowing you to effectively balance your professional responsibilities with personal well-being. Our outpatient office structure ensures that therapists can focus exclusively on delivering exceptional care while having access to full administrative support. We offer a collegial work atmosphere where collaboration among the team thrives and a strong work/life balance is prioritized, making it an ideal setting for mental health professionals who want to make a meaningful impact while maintaining personal fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regular weekly supervision to practicum students who are pursuing clinical licensure or are currently enrolled in their Master’s programs, guiding them through their development as mental health professionals.
  • Deliver psychotherapy services to a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, while applying evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's needs.
  • Actively collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals and community resources to enhance client care and ensure a comprehensive support system.
  • Contribute to the formulation, execution, and assessment of personalized treatment plans that effectively address the unique needs of clients.
  • Maintain precise and current client records and documentation as per regulatory requirements and best practices, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Stay abreast of contemporary research, emerging trends, and proven methodologies in therapy, thereby enhancing service quality and clinical knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, ranging from adolescents to adults who face a variety of mental health challenges. As a therapist at Harold Psychiatric Center, you will engage with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health disorders. You will have the opportunity to make profound differences in their lives through empathetic listening, effective therapy, and continuous support.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
  • A valid state license in mental health counseling, including but not limited to LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
  • Professional liability insurance to practice within the state legally.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience supervising students in a practicum or internship capacity.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range from $52,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and commitment to the role. Our benefits package is robust, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and additional paid holidays. We also provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and support for professional development.

At Harold Psychiatric Center, we encourage continuous professional development and growth. You will have access to ongoing training, workshops, and the possibility of advanced career paths within our organization, including leadership and specialized clinical positions.
